February 4, 2007The mindset of tgurlsInterestingly enough in China tgurls are hard to come by. Transgenderism is still not well accepted in most parts of China. Most tgurls uses cabaret as a place to explore their feminity. Most gay bars would host a modest cabaret show. They would come into the bars as guys, go through transformation, and leave as guys. Very rarely do one see a gurl go into public as I do. The term for transgender in Mandarin is "ren yao". It means Human Ghost. Not a very flattering term.
